Featured Fosters

These adorable, adoptable dogs are fostered by some of my Tallahassee friends!

Holly - TPAFirst up we have Holly, through Tallahassee Pets Alive! They say: “Holly is a 9 Week Old Mixed Breed Dog. She is about 10lbs (at this age it is hard to tell how big these pups will be when they are full grown). She is quite the cutie pie and LOVES to cuddle! She would make the perfect first dog for someone, or the perfect addition to a pack! She is calm, loving, sociable, sweet and so cuddly! She has a wonderful temperament and would love to find a home just in time for the holidays! She is up to date on shots, and ready for her forever home! To fill out an application please email us at Jackcory (at) paconsultants (dot) com!”

I have personally met Holly (and two of her siblings). You know I go for big fluffy dogs, but this girl has a special charm that even worked on me. She is an absolute cuddle bug! She loved attention from her foster mom, but was also happy to play with her siblings. Last I heard, they believe she is a Chi/Pitt Dane/Pitt mix. Don’t ask me how, because I couldn’t tell you. But I can tell you this puppy is an adorable little girl who embodies the very definition of mutt.

Sasha and Axle are available through the Gadsden County Humane Society. They have been on the hunt for a forever home for more than a year! They could really use some help to find their perfect family, so please feel free to share.

Sasha - GCHS‘Sasha’ says: “I’m Sasha. I’m a single female in search of a forever family. I’m about 5 years old. I am 39lbs.I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m a little shy as I have had a bad relationship in the past. But I am a great alert dog! No strangers enter my territory without a signal from me. And no squirrel is brave enough either. I’m okay with other dogs once I am comfortable but can be grumpy to them when I’m scared in a new environment. But you will never catch me being grumpy with a person. I walk very well on a leash and love to go for walks. I’d be happy to sleep on a dog pillow at the foot of your bed. I’m not greedy, you can have the bed to yourself. I just want a warm place to lay and some attention from my forever people and life will be complete. Please don’t let distance be a problem. I’m located in Tallahassee, Fl but transport help is available. I’m a good girl and I’m looking for my family!”

Axle GCHS‘Axle’ says: “Hi! I’m axle. I’m looking for my forever family. I’m about 5 years old and weigh 40lbs. I’m neutered and up to date on my vaccinations and heartworm negative. I can be a little shy at first glance but I warm up pretty quick. I would love to sleep on the bed with you but I understand get down and I don’t even try to jump on the couch. I get along with other dogs and I completely ignore cats. I love a good game of keep the tennis ball away from my foster brother! There is nothing better than a walk where I am very well behaved. I’m not bad in the car either…I will jump right in all by myself. Don’t let distance stop you! I have transport help available.
